Call Before You Dig, Inc. (CBYD) is a state regulated, non-profit organization comprised of all public utilities and municipalities in Connecticut. Public Act No. 87-71 and Section 16-345-3 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies requires all owners and operators of underground utility facilities to register with the Call Before You Dig central clearinghouse.

The purpose of CBYD is to function as a statewide, one-call notification system that provides excavators and the general public with the ability to inform multiple owners and operators of underground facilities of proposed excavation, demolition or blasting.
This Call Before You Dig Membership Package includes:


Registration Form - provides us with your company's contact information, method of receiving notifications from CBYD and the number of miles of underground facilities that you are registering.

Billing Rates explains the different types of fees for membership and services provided by CBYD. These rates are reviewed and approved by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control on an annual basis.
