Damage Reporting Tool

DamageAccess is the web based tool that allows anyone to report both damages to underground utility facilities and violations of safe excavating practices that did not result in asset damage. Each report must be approved by a supervisor from the reporting company to confirm the accuracy of the content, before being submitted to PURA for their review.

Completed reports must be received by PURA within 30 days of the incident occurrence. A user guide is available here for download to help guide you through the process as a new user. Please see the link below to read the released memorandum from PURA – Re: Changes in reporting requirements for underground utility damages and violations of Connecticut Call Before You Dig laws.

Note:  DamageAccess was recently updated. If you are a utility member- when entering your Supervisor's email address, you should see a suggestion box with their account similar to the depiction below.

You MUST select your supervisor from that dialog box in order for them to receive your report.  If you do not see your Supervisor in that suggestion box or your Supervisor does not receive the report, please reach out to our support team- as there may be an issue with your account details.
